HANDCRAFTED BEERS BREWED FRESH IN SOUTH AUSTIN Rob and Amy Cartwright, along with their dog Jasper, were on a mission when they started Independence Brewing Co. in October 2004 - brew smooth, full-flavor, deliciously easy-drinking beers for the people of Texas. In the last three years, we've grown to a staff of five, and added a puppy. Our beer is now available in over 200 neighborhood bars and restaurants, grocery, specialty beer, and convenience stores in the greater Austin-San Antonio area. Of course, the best way to explore Independence beers is to attend the 1st Saturday Brewery Tour & Beer Tasting.
