Revolution by the Pint
It’s no surprise that we enjoy a great party. After all, we work in a place where water is turned into beer. What is a great party without your friends and family? It’s down right depressing! In the spirit of beer, friends and good times we initiated the Texas-sized gathering known as First Saturday.
First Saturday is part festival, part beer tasting, part beer tour, part concert and part grubbing out. Six dollars will get you a pint glass and we always have a nicer glass for eight to ten dollars. We fill that glass up for you three times and you even get to take it home! We do ask that you leave your glasses at home though, unless of course it is a limited edition anniversary glass (these are sold once a year at our anniversary party).
Many of you are First Saturday regulars and we can’t thank you enough!
Just when you thought First Saturday couldn’t get any better…
This weekend will be a very special First Saturday. Friday is Texas Independence Day and our First Saturday will be a celebration like no other! This month’s music will be provided by Sam Sliva and the Good and we will have some Texas style BBQ from the Smokin’ Rose of Texas Boomerang’s Australian Meat Pies(WE messed up the scheduling on this one– sorry guys). We will also have some awesome glassware and t-shirts to commemorate the event. For the glassware and t-shirts we worked with Cartright member Ben Russell for the art. You may remember Cartright from a past First Saturday performance. We loved their artwork so much we asked them who did it. We were delighted to find out that Ben a member of the band had drawn it himself. We commissioned him for the glassware and t-shirt design and the results turned out awesome!
The commemorative glass is sleek and features original artwork from Ben. If you purchase the commemorative glass we will give you first crack at the newest Brewluminati beer. From 1pm-2pm only those with the Texas Independence Day glass will have access to the new Brewluminati beer. After 2pm if there is anything left we will open the taps for the rest of the crowd. Trust us, you won’t want to miss out.
We are also continuing our efforts of working towards a ZERO waste First Saturday. Help us to ensure that all materials are placed in the proper recycling bin!
We hope you join us on Saturday. You can find more information on the event here.
