Independence and Frankenbike Partner for 2012
We love bikes here at the brewery. I ride to work nearly every day and John has caught the bug as well. Jamie has been known to shred the trails on his mountain bike as well. It was a no brainer when Frankenbike asked us to join up with them for 2012. We hope you can join us at one of the monthly events! The official Press release is below:

February 2012 brings marks #79 for Austin’s FrankenBike! We are very happy to
welcome our new partner and 2012 Austin event sponsor, Independence Brewing Co.
WELCOME!
This month’s FrankenBike is Saturday, February 25 10am-4pm and will be hosted by Al
Covert’s Bike Yard, located on Manzillo Drive in South Austin. We are extra happy to
have Independence Brewing Co. joining us to provide us with refreshments for our road
weary cyclists! The weather is supposed to be incredible so come out and enjoy the
day with your friends from FrankenBike! As always, map and more detailed info can be

FrankenBike was started in June 2005 in Austin, Texas by Chris Gross and is currently
run by Chris and Michelle Moore. Currently, we are striving to add new cities every
month. FrankenBike works in conjunction with area organizations including Bike Texas,
The Yellow Bike Project, NikiCoverstheCold.com, The Capital Area Blood and Tissue
