Ray "Otis" Wells  Ray "Otis" Wells has the most nicknames of anyone at the brewery. He has also been known to answer to "OT" and "the Missing Hippy from Mississippi". Since our first truck was an old Otis Spunkmeyer delivery truck, it seemed that fate had intervened and delivered Otis to Independence Brewing in October 2006. Having worked for a big distributor, Otis knew his way around Austin-area bars and grocery stores. And he is generally known as one of the friendliest delivery guys in town. Otis' favorite Independence brew is Bootlegger Brown Ale. He is also a frequent disc golfer, loves the Greenbelt creeks, and catching good shows around town. |
